Article: LEXMARK INTERNATIONAL, INC. ANNOUNCES SUPPLIES, TRADEMARK AGREEMENT WITH IBM

GREENWICH, Conn., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Lexmark International (NYSE: LXK) has announced a manufacturing, distribution and support agreement with IBM for Lexmark to continue to market IBM printer supplies worldwide through 1999. In addition, the two companies signed a corporate trademark agreement. Lexmark may continue to use the IBM logo on typewriters and selected typewriter and printer supplies through 2001.

Several elements of the agreements began to take effect last August when the agreements were reached. Other elements will not begin until late March when certain original agreements between the two companies expire.
