OAKLAND, Calif., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Kaiser Permanente's Northern California Region Thursday announced a new strategy for its hospital inpatient services that will involve more alliances with other community hospitals than in the past. This strategy is expected to address the growing surplus of hospital beds in Northern California in a way that offers Kaiser Permanente members continued quality and access to care and ensures a strong local health care system for all Northern Californians.
