NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 1995--The Czech Republic Fund Inc., a closed-end management investment company that seeks long term capital appreciation by investing primarily in securities of Czech issuers, today announced unaudited results for the three months ended Nov. 30, 1995.

The Fund commenced investment operations on Sept. 30, 1994.

For the three months ended Nov. 30, 1995, the Fund's net investment loss was $249,075, equal to 6 cents per share as compared to net investment income of $224,325, equal to 5 cents per share for the two months ended Nov, 30, 1994.
