GOOGLE GEARS will now be available to a select set of mobile devices.

According to a blog post from Google Mobile Team Product Manager Charles Wiles, the open-source beta software--which allows offline users access to Web applications normally accessible only online--will function in much the same way on mobile devices as it does on desktop PCs.
