Through our Northern Australia Program office in Cairns, ACF brought a bit of Cape York Peninsula to Melbourne in February.

Speaking during the 'Slow Rivers, Healthy Communities' session as part of A Taste of Slow Food Festival at Federation Square, Aunty Francis, a Kuku Yalanji woman from the Aboriginal community of Wujal Wujal north of Cairns, told listeners about the important role water plays in the lives of people in her community.
