No-interest loans available to meet emergency needs
PROVIDENCE, R.I., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Fleet Bank-RI announced today that it will provide emergency assistance to Rhode Island consumers affected by the coastal oil spill. No-interest loans of up to $5,000, (60-day term), will be available immediately to qualified residents consumers. The loans are designed to provide temporary relief to fishermen, coastal businesses and other individuals whose livelihoods have been disrupted by the oil spill.
Loan applications will be taken at 11 Fleet (and former Shawmut Bank) branches offices in the South County and Aquidneck Island areas. Beginning on ...
