A Mexican celebration in Brooklyn Park
The city of Brooklyn Park and the Joint Community Police Partnership are hosting the city's second annual Cinco de Mayo event on Saturday. Free food will be provided by Chipotle and pinatas will be available for children every half-hour. Entertainment includes dancers, singers, a magician and a clown. The free event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Zanewood Recreation Center, 7100 Zane Av. Attendees are asked to contribute $1 toward the cost of the festivities.
