SAN DIEGO, May 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Maxwell Technologies, Inc. today reported revenue of $17.3 million for its first quarter ended March 31, 2008, an increase of 38 percent over the $12.6 million recorded in the same period in 2007. Operating loss for the first quarter 2008 was $3.4 million, compared with $4.5 million in the same period last year.
