Shanghai. May 6. INTERFAX-CHINA - Food poisoning killed 26 people in China during the first three months of this year, the Ministry of Health announced yesterday.

By comparison, the country reported 25 fatalities attributed to food poisoning over the same period in 2007, though the total for the entire year rose to 258.
