Fishing hot spot: Frying Pan River
* Why here? The river below Ruedi Dam has been unaffected by runoff. It remains clear and inviting.
* What's hot? Trout have been rising to hatches of blue-wing-olive mayflies and midges and taking nymphs at other times.
* Fly box: BWO CDC Comparaduns, Sparkledun BWOs, Para-Quill BWOs, Parachute Adams, Pheasant Tails, RS-2s, Zebra Midges and Mysis patterns.
* Best times: Hatches have been coming off between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
