CASE FACTS: Minnise Holt, a 79 year-old nursing home resident, underwent surgery to remove a mole from his body. Dr. Bruce Adelman was the anesthesiologist involved in the procedure. Dr. Adelman was present at the initial stage of the procedure, but left the operating room shortly thereafter.
