OMAHA, Neb., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Guarantee Mutual Life Company announced today that The Guarantee Life Companies Inc. has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission an amended registration statement for its initial public offering. The offering is part of Guarantee Mutual's previously announced demutualization plan to convert Guarantee Mutual from a mutual life insurance company to a stock life insurance company. Following this process, Guarantee Mutual will be renamed Guarantee Life Insurance Company and become a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Guarantee Life Companies Inc., which will be a publicly traded holding company.
