NEW YORK - About $50,000 worth of goods bearing Calvin Klein and Gap labels was seized during a Tuesday raid of an Englewood, N.J., jobber

The Bergen County prosecutor's office searched United Apparel Corp., a distributor, jobber and exporter based in Englewood, after getting a complaint from the sportswear manufacturers that counterfeit goods were being held there.

Larry Manus, his brother Kenneth and mother Esther, all executives with the firm, were charged with forgery and commercial simulation. Larry Manus is also the mayor of Alpine, N.J., an affluent northern New Jersey community.
