Excitement is high and continues to build at Colgate University as the Dalai Lama's visit, and the political drama it may bring to campus, draws nearer.
The Dalai Lama, the exiled spiritual and political leader of Tibet, will fly into Hamilton's airport Tuesday. It is the last leg of his first trip to the U.S. since the global uproar caused by China's armed suppression of Tibetan uprisings. Thousands of people across the nation have clamored for tickets to see him at Colgate.
