The Dalai Lama, spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism, will visit Central New York today for the second time in six months.
He will speak at Colgate University's Sanford Field House on the topic, "The Art of Happiness." Tickets for the event are gone, but the talk, from 3 to 5 p.m., will be broadcast at www.colgate.edu.
University librarian Joanne Schneider, a Tibetan Buddhist herself, said the visit is like "a combination of the pope and Nelson Mandela coming to Colgate."
