To the Editor:
We keep being bombarded with the inference that John McCain is a war hero. We applaud him for choosing to enter military service. This is what makes him a hero and not the fact that he was shot down and captured in Vietnam.
All men and women who join the military and face potential death are heroes. John McCain is not more special than any of them. John McCain did not survive ...
