A DRINK-fuelled driver who crashed his car while three times over the limit got done again - after going to a police station to answer his bail.
Kevin I'Anson narrowly escaped prison after the two separate incidents, which were just weeks apart.
The first occurred on March 2, this year, when the 49-year-old, who the court heard drinks two bottles of sherry a day, crashed his black Ford Fiesta car into a parked vehicle in Winterbottom Avenue, Hartlepool at around 3.05pm.
Paula Sanderson, prosecuting, said: "The Fiesta had come to rest in the middle of the road and the driver was still in the driver's seat and appeared to be dazed."
