The new president of NAHAD: The Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution set several objectives for his year in office.
Jack Kacsur of General Rubber Co. Inc. started his year as NAHAD president during the association's 24th annual meeting, held April 5-8 in Williamsburg. During the year, he said he wanted to focus on:
* greater acceptance of the NAHAD Hose Assembly Guidelines;
* utilizing opportunities from the new NAHAD Web site;
* increasing distributor membership;
* strengthening the requirements for manufacturer membership; and
* working toward restructuring NAHAD's membership dues categories.
