CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- IES Industries Inc. (NYSE: IES), a Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based holding company, announced 1995 earnings of $2.20 per share. That compares with earnings of $2.34 per share in 1994. Net income for 1995 was $64 million, compared with net income of $67 million for 1994. Operating revenues were $851 million in 1995, compared with $786 million in 1994.
Earnings reflect the effect of an electric price reduction order received in the second quarter of 1995 from the Iowa Utilities Board (Board) for IES Utilities, the company's utility subsidiary. In its final order, the Board ordered IES Utilities to reduce its retail electric ...
