Don't borrow that fix.(READBACK)(Letter to the editor)

Thank you for your recent article "Borrow a Fix" (December 2007 IFR). In it, you mention that a "... straightforward solution is to set ILHZ (the ILS-DME antenna fix) as the active waypoint in the GPS." In my last conversation with the Jeppessen programmers about one year ago, I was informed that they do not code the ILS antenna fixes into their databases. Our conversation was specifically regarding the Garmin 400- and 500-series units. Has this changed?
