FOUR pupils in one class are among 13 girls who are pregnant at a KwaMashu school.
The high pregnancy rate at Mzuvele High School has allegedly prompted the principal to intervene by expelling all the pregnant girls while a students' body has expressed concern at the high pregnancy rate.
More than 13 pupils, the majority in their matric year, have recently allegedly been dismissed. The principal said he was giving them a two-year maternity leave.
