MEMPHIS, Tenn., Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Hunter Fan Company announced that it is trying to locate all owners of its Model No. 30300 portable room air purifier because of a possible safety related problem. This Model has been available through retailers such as warehouse home centers and catalog showrooms since September 1992. For further information, owners of the product should call 1-800-922-9886.
A Hunter spokesman indicated that the potential for high voltage arching in the front grill area of the unit could cause the plastic in the front housing to degrade in such a way that may result in a safety hazard.
