DALLAS, May 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Cushing MLP Total Return Fund has sold $12,474,653 of equity in a registered public offering to an institutional investor. Shares issued in the sale totaled 707,581 and brings the Fund's total shares outstanding to 9,462,817. The shares were issued at a price of $17.63, which was equal to the Fund's NAV determined immediately prior to the sale. The offering price and NAV represent a 1.26% premium to the Fund's closing price of $17.41 on Thursday, May 8, 2008.
