THE trickle of aid going into Burma has been reduced even further after the UN suspended operations after two mercy flights were seized by the military government.
And it emerged that the few supplies actually getting into the country are far from reaching the hundreds of thousands of cyclone survivors in the most isolated parts of the disaster zone.
"All of the food aid and equipment that we managed to get in has been confiscated," said Paul Risley, spokesman for the UN's World Food Programme in Bangkok.
