MIAMI, Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Carnival Cruise Lines, a division of Carnival Corporation (NYSE: CCL), announced an agreement under which Dolphin Cruise Line will charter Carnival's 38,175-gross-registered-ton TSS Festivale.

The Festivale will continue sailing on its current itinerary of seven-day southern Caribbean cruises through the departure of April 21, 1996.

"In the late 1970s, the Festivale was the preeminent cruise vessel from the Port of Miami and over the years has carried millions of 'Fun Ship' vacationers helping Carnival become the most popular cruise line in the world," said Bob Dickinson, president of Carnival Cruise Lines.
