A year ago today, I started blogging about being a mom and raising kids in Central New York.
Since The Post-Standard's Family Life blog debuted, the blog has featured more than 200 recalls of child-related products, such as toys and car seats, and dozens of contests for books for parents and children.
I've blogged about my children, Ian, 8, and Chloe, 5, and what I've learned from them. I've written about what it's like to get older, juggle responsibilities of work and family and watch my kids grow up.
And I've written about topics in the news -- from Miley Cyrus posing in a sheet in Vanity Fair ...
