TO mark Breastfeeding Awareness Week, which commenced yesterday (Monday), the Southern Health and Social Care Trust has organised a number of information events throughout the area.
Local breastfeeding mums and supporters marked National Breastfeeding Awareness Week 2008 with a ribbon cutting ceremony at Greenbean Cafe in Townsend Street, Banbridge, yesterday.
Greenbean owner Deirdre Grant said she was delighted to be supporting the event.
"At Greenbean we welcome nursing mums and endeavour to make their visit as relaxing and comfortable as possible," she said.
