Chinese corn starch producers to lift ex-factory price by month's end
Hangzhou. May 14. INTERFAX-CHINA - Domestic corn starch producers will raise their ex-factory prices by the end of this month due to the rising corn costs, according to the Jilin Corn Market today.
"Large-scale corn starch producers want to lift prices to offset rising corn costs, so the quoted price for corn starch will see an overall increase of RMB 50 ($7.15) to RMB 100 ($14.31) per ton by the end of this month," Li Ying, an analyst from the Jilin Corn Market, told Interfax.
