NEW YORK -- An artist's studio is where inspirations are manifested and dreams readied for takeoff. And with such a credo, The Fashion Institute of Technology will include a replication of footwear designer Andrea Pfister's own creative space, where many shoe fantasies have materialized, in an upcoming retrospective of his work that will include a display of more than 300 shoes.
The aptly titled show, "Shoe Dreams by Andrea Pfister," Feb. 7 through April 20, here, will include a re-creation of the artist's studio, replete with the lasts and tools of the trade that have kept him at the top of his craft since the mid '60s.
