This month I have written a short article about editing Margin because this is the fortieth issue of the magazine that I have edited over the last twelve years--not that I am giving up not until I reach fifty issues at least. I thought that some newer readers might be interested in the 'history' of the magazine. It also allows me to talk about some of the pleasures of editing as well as some of the difficulties.
There is an article by Patricia Clarke about an interesting addition to information on the life of Louisa Atkinson. Patricia is the author of the definitive biography of Louisa entitled Pioneer Woman and the Mulini Press still has a couple of copies of that work ...
