CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 1, 1996--LCA-Vision Inc. (NASDAQ:LCAV), a leading competitor in the emerging excimer laser eye surgery sector, said its fourth medical facility for the quick, painless treatment of myopia will open in Savannah, Georgia, today. Seven patients will be treated for various degrees of near-sightedness at the facility on the first full day of operations.
The new center is being operated as a joint venture among Memorial Medical Center, Candler Hospital, and LCA-Vision Inc., a Cincinnati-based medical practice management company that is one of the nation's most experienced providers in the field of laser eye surgery.
