WEDNESDAY, 4pm: Melton schoolboy Callum Munnelly (14) bounced back to win gold at the county athletics championships on Sunday.
Callum, who attends King Edward VII School, and runs for Charnwood Athletics Club, based at Loughborough University, took two medals home from the Three Counties Athletics Championships at the weekend.
On Saturday, Callum came third in the 100m final to claim a bronze medal, but ran out of his skin on Sunday to win the 200m gold medal, decimating his personal best for the print distance by a full second.
Callum will now go forward to represent Leicestershire in the Midland Championships in Birmingham on the next May Bank ...
