QUITE simply, it was the biggest, most joyous gathering of Rangerssupporters ever.
On every street, in every bar, royal blue was the colour, lager was the drinkand Follow, Follow was the song.
Even veteran supporters stared in awe at the sheer scale of their own presencein Manchester city centre as they awaited the kick- off.
Mancunians, too, confessed they had never seen anything like it.
For some Rangers fans, the build-up began as early as 7am as advance partiessearched for the first pubs to open.
