WHEN the robber marched into her bank demanding money, Nicola Chungcalmly counted out [pounds sterling]2,000 and handed it across the counter.
But her cool demeanour was not down to bravery.
In fact, the robber who confronted her turned out to be her boyfriend - and therobbery itself a plan hatched between them to pay off debts.
At Hamilton Sheriff Court yesterday, Chung, 20, and Kevin Connelly, 26, werespared jail sentences for the fake hold-up plot.
The bungling would-be Bonnie and Clyde pair had fallen behind on their rent andcame up with the scam in July last year to boost their finances.
