Building Schools for the Future is being changed fundamentally. But does that mean it is being put on the backburner, asks Katharine Quarmby

In double-speak worthy of that once esteemed organ of truth in Russia, Pravda, the Department for Children, Schools and Families issued a press notice in mid-April, declaring that Building Schools for the Future (BSF), would be, at one and the same time, "accelerated and streamlined" under new proposals.
