Concerns about identity fraud and other people using personal details have risen by 15% in two years, Ofcom research revealed today. Additionally, over two-thirds (69%) of people are concerned about the amount of personal information that companies hold about them.
However, the research also shows that more people who use the internet are now happy to provide personal information online, for example, their credit or debit card details, than in 2005. In these cases, the research suggests that people may be making more informed decisions ...
