Boof Bonser painted the corners, got ahead in the count and let the defense work behind him. It's the kind of performance that gives the Twins hope that Bonser can be a reliable member of the rotation.
Too bad it came during the final two innings of Bonser's six-inning outing that was far from effective Wednesday night. The damage had been done against Bonser much earlier as the Blue Jays defeated the Twins 6-5 at the Metrodome.
