The scenario for the Rocky Mountain baseball team has reached ideal status. If the Lobos can split a doubleheader today with Air Academy, crown them Class 5A state champions once again.
They walloped Arapahoe 13-2 on Friday at All City Field, never looking back after Andy Burns' leadoff home run in eliminating the Warriors.
"We're right where we want to be," Burns said. "We're in a perfect situation."
