Embarking on a strategy aimed at significantly increasing tourism numbers entering Cameroon could revive a previously neglected sector, but attaining half a million visitors a year by 2010 will certainly be a challenging exercise. Discussing the policies that need to be put in place to meet this objective was high on the agenda of Cameroon's fifth National Tourism Council (NTC) meeting which took place in Yaounde under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Ephraim Inoni.
