Encore Performance for Farmall Promenade This summer the Farmall Promenade Square Dancing Tractors will do-si-do for the last time. Since their 1999 debut at Nemaha's centennial celebration, the Iowa community the dancers call home, the ensemble has preformed more than 125 times. Each performance consists of eight male tractor drivers-four dressed as women-using antique Farmall tractors to swing their partners to and fro. The troupe, made up of farmers, uses two semis to haul the tractors and the 11 members to their performances. The Farmall Promenade farewell tour kicks off the first week of July and ends where it all started in Nemaha at the end ...
