With laptop computers, red pens and dictionaries at their sides, members of the ASRT Committee on Bylaws met in Albuquerque, N.M., on Feb. 23 to revise the ASRT Bylaws. The committee reorganized sections of the bylaws to improve the document's format and made editing changes to improve its readability.
The group also recommended several changes to ensure that the bylaws reflect ASRT positions, operations and current practice.
Among their changes, the committee recommended eliminating the "Honorary" category of ASRT membership, which recognizes non-R.T.s who have provided exceptional service to the radiologic science profession or to the ASRT. The category has not been ...
