Summit to unite R.R.A.s and R.P.A.s fails.(news)(American Society of Radiologic Technologists)(Conference news)(Brief article)

Despite efforts during the past two years to unify advanced practice in radiography, the Summit on Advanced Practice Radiography has collapsed.

Directed by a House of Delegates resolution in June 2006 to unify radiologist assistants and radiology practitioner assistants, the ASRT participated in the summit. Others working to find common ground included representatives of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the Certification Board for Radiology Practitioner Assistants, National Society of Radiology Practitioner Assistants and the American College of Radiology.
