NAPERVILLE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--December 21, 1995--Vitalink Pharmacy Services, Inc. (Nasdaq:VTLK) today announced record revenues and earnings for the second quarter of fiscal 1996.
For the three months ended November 30, 1995, net income increased 20 percent to $3,366,000 from $2,801,000 reported for the second quarter last year. Earnings per share were $0.24 versus $0.20 for the year ago period. Income from operations increased approximately 19 percent during the quarter to $5,390,000. Net revenues were $33,998,000 for the second quarter compared to $27,450,000 for the same period last year.
