Alberto Mendoza makes no bones about the importance of clean air. With more than 13 years of nonprofit experience, Mendoza, the current President and CEO of the Coalition for Clean Air (CCA), is the first Latino hired to run a large, statewide environmental advocacy organization.

And there is no doubt that Mendoza is a great "coalition builder." His charismatic personality and magnetic energy inspires others, and it is this leadership tactic that lends to the strength and success of the organization. One of his greatest 'challenges and largest efforts of his position is figuring out how to bring new voices into the environmental movement.
