INDIANAPOLIS, May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Vertellus Specialties Inc., a leading specialty chemicals company, today announced a price increase of $2.00/kg effective June 1, 2008 for 2-vinylpyridine monomer sales to all non-contract customers. The price increase is necessary to recover substantial increase in the costs of raw materials, energy, and distribution.
