SAN FRANCISCO, May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Biologists with the University of California Santa Cruz Predatory Bird Research Group (SCPBRG) today will attempt a daring rescue of peregrine falcon eyases from underneath the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Because bridges are lethal locations for fledging birds, the rescue effort is critical to ensure the endangered falcons have a better chance of survival.
