Belarussian industrial production grows 13.3% in Jan-April
MINSK. May 19 (Interfax) - Industrial production in Belarus grew 13.3% year-on-year in real terms in the first four months of 2008, and measured Br39.985 trillion in current prices, the Ministry of Statistics and Analysis reported.
Industrial production in April rose 12.2% year-on-year but was down 6% from the previous month.
The strongest production growth in the four months was 17.1% to Br8.35 trillion in engineering and metalwork. Production also grew 16% to Br1.25 trillion in the construction materials sector, 17% to Br1.2 trillion in the forestry and timber processing industry, 15% ...
