COUNCIL leaders are confident Scarborough's [pounds sterling]150 million Sands complex will attract more household names after LEGOLAND's shock decision to pull-out.
The top officials say they have moved on since Merlin Entertain-ment decided not to invest in a LEGOLAND Discovery Centre on the site of the former Atlantis swimming pool site, as part of development in North Bay.
In a report to the Scarborough Hospitality Association, Colin Eastwood, Sands project manager for Scarborough Council, says he has "no doubt other big names" will be attracted to the town.
