THE TOPIC OF WOMEN AND ANTI-DEPRESSANTS is something I have thought a lot about both as an instructor and writer in the area of women and mental health, and as a person suffering from posttraumatic-stress disorder. I personally have tried many different anti-depressants throughout the years and have, overall, been helped by them.
Often people feel ashamed to say that they have taken or tried anti-depressants.
