VITALE BUYS SHAREPOINT PROVIDER
Vitale Caturano, a Boston-based accounting firm which has been expanding its technology practice, has acquired Jornata, which provides services and products based upon Microsofts SharePoint technology.
The firm said the deal was part of the expansion of its business intelligence practice. Bill Kracunas, shareholder of the firms technology operations, cited Jornatas strength in using the SharePoint platform and the skills of its founder, Mauroa Cardarelli, as a reason for the acquisition.
